This is the famous Thor

Thor's new family
Back to Iowa Heart Bandits

As I think back to April of last year, I think of meeting a big Eskie, one of the biggest that I have ever seen. He was literally frozen, frightened to move or even make eye contact with anyone, his spirit had been broken. But I looked deep into his eyes and saw a gentle giant, the kind that we read about when we were children. We spent quite some time together since that first day and became very close. We learned what each other was about and he finally showed me that he was indeed that gentle giant. I must admit there were times that with just a play bow and a happy "rumph" He would magically make me forget about my troubles and take me back to the days when I would dream about flying through the clouds in a giant shiny silver sugar spoon. But as in the life of a rescuer, it has become time to let go, however difficult it is. I wish him the best of everything, and that his new family will be able to be touched by him as I was. Good Luck Thor!
Peace be with you always,
Perry
